Elgin Villa offers family rooms and double rooms, all with private bathrooms. The Family Room for Four includes a king-size double bed and two single beds, overlooking trees and gardens. The Double Room on the second floor provides views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills. Each room has a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee facilities, and a hairdryer. Beds measure five feet wide (king-size in the UK).

Breakfast Included

A complimentary continental breakfast includes tea, coffee, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, toast with marmalade, and pastries. Guests can order free-range scrambled eggs, porridge, or hot chocolate. Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM.

Parking and Location

Elgin Villa is seconds from Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent, part of Bath's UNESCO World Heritage Site. Private gated parking costs £8 per day if not booked directly. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Thermae Bath Spa and 900 meters from Pulteney Bridge. Bristol Airport is 24 km away.

Nearby Attractions

The hotel is close to No. 1 Royal Crescent (0.5 km), the Jane Austen Centre (0.5 km), and Bath Abbey (1 km). Royal Victoria Park is 300 meters away. The Roman Baths are 0.7 miles from the property.

Hosts and Services

Hosts Margarita and Peter Cooper-Marsh provide guides for sightseeing, shopping, and dining in Bath. Rooms include desks, electric kettles, and Freeview TV. An iron and ironing board are available on request. Children over 5 years are welcome.

“There's a genuinely welcoming atmosphere here, where the hosts go the extra mile to assist with local orientation. I'd say immediate access to both Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent is a real asset, coupled with the rarity of private parking so close to the city center. For those seeking a personal touch and a convenient location, this is an excellent choice.”
